The Reading Effect is a literacy project created to engage and
instill the love of reading in children that will last a lifetime. We have
created a fun and engaging reading platform for children. With our interactive
reading events, children will learn that reading can be fun, not frustrating.
We are going to host reading events, where we will read appropriate aged
books to children in elementary schools, hospitals and day care centers.
Each child will receive a free copy of the book and a prize at the end of the reading, followed by an interactive question and answer period. We will assign projects or goals for each child and follow up on their progress. Teachers and students can create sing-a-long music and theater plays that go along with the story as a class project or school production.

Studies show the single best way to increase your child’s IQ is to read to him/her and instill a love of reading. Does your child read just for fun? Kids that read books other than those assigned in school do better academically, at every step of the way. School performance correlates more directly with children's reading scores than any other single indicator!
